June 26, 2003 — Traded the draft rights to forward Matt Bonner (selected 45th overall in 2003 NBA Draft) to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for a future second-round pick.

December 1, 2003 — Traded Lonny Baxter, Donyell Marshall and Jalen Rose to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for Antonio Davis, Chris Jefferies and Jerome Williams.

December 16, 2003 — Acquired Rick Brunson from the Toronto Raptors in exchange for Roger Mason, Jr.

June 24, 2004 — The Bulls acquired the draft rights to Luol Deng (selected 7th overall in 2004 NBA Draft) from Phoenix in exchange for a Bulls future conditional first-round pick, the rights to Jackson Vroman (selected 31st overall in 2004 NBA Draft), and an undisclosed amount of cash.

September 8, 2004 — Traded Dikembe Mutombo to the Houston Rockets for Eric Piatkowski, Adrian Griffin and Mike Wilks.

October 4, 2005 — Traded Eddy Curry and Antonio Davis to New York in exchange for Mike Sweetney, Tim Thomas, Jermaine Jackson, a conditional first-round draft pick and two second-round draft picks.

June 28, 2006 — Acquired the draft rights to Tyrus Thomas (selected 4th overall in 2006 NBA Draft) and Viktor Khryapa from Portland in exchange for the draft rights to LaMarcus Aldridge (selected 2nd overall in 2006 NBA Draft) and a future second-round pick. Also acquired the draft rights to Thabo Sefolosha (selected 13th overall in 2006 NBA Draft) from Philadelphia in exchange for the draft rights to Rodney Carney (selected 16th overall in 2006 NBA Draft), a 2007 second-round draft pick, and cash considerations.

July 14, 2006 — Acquired P.J. Brown and J.R. Smith from the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets in exchange for Tyson Chandler.

July 20, 2006 — Traded J.R. Smith to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for Howard Eisley and two 2007 second-round draft picks from the Nuggets.

August 18, 2006 — Acquired Martynas Andriuskevicius from Cleveland in exchange for Eddie Basden.

February 21, 2008 — Acquired Drew Gooden, Larry Hughes, Shannon Brown and Cedric Simmons from Cleveland in exchange for Ben Wallace, Joe Smith and Chicago’s 2009 regular second-round draft pick; also traded Adrian Griffin to Seattle.

June 26, 2008 — In a three-team trade, Chicago acquired the draft rights to Ömer Aşık (selected 36th overall in 2008 NBA Draft) from Portland, the Trail Blazers acquired a second-round draft pick in 2009 from Denver and two future second-round draft picks from Chicago, and Denver acquired the draft rights to Sonny Weems (selected 39th overall in 2008 NBA Draft) from Chicago.

February 18, 2009 — Traded Andrés Nocioni, Drew Gooden, Cedric Simmons and Michael Ruffin to Sacramento in exchange for Brad Miller and John Salmons.

February 19, 2009 — Traded Larry Hughes to New York for Tim Thomas, Jerome James and Anthony Roberson. Traded Thabo Sefolosha to Oklahoma City for a 2009 first-round pick.

January 25, 2010 — Traded Aaron Gray to New Orleans for Devin Brown.

February 18, 2010 — Traded John Salmons, 2011 and 2012 second-round picks and the option to swap 2010 first-round picks to Milwaukee for Hakim Warrick and Joe Alexander.

February 18, 2010 — Traded Tyrus Thomas to Charlotte for Ronald Murray, Acie Law and a future first round draft pick.

July 8, 2010 — Traded Kirk Hinrich, the draft rights to Kévin Séraphin (selected 17th overall in 2010 NBA Draft) and cash considerations to Washington, in exchange for the draft rights to Vladimir Veremeenko (selected 48th overall in 2006 NBA Draft). Chicago also received a trade exception from Washington. Acquired Carlos Boozer along with a future protected second-round pick from Utah for a trade exception.

July 9,2010 — Signed and traded the contract of Hakim Warrick to Phoenix, in exchange for Phoenix’s regular 2011 second-round draft pick.

July 22, 2010 — Acquired C.J. Watson from Golden State for a future second-round draft pick.

February 22, 2011 — Traded James Johnson to the Toronto Raptors for a 2011 first-round draft pick.

June 23, 2011 — Acquired the draft rights to Nikola Mirotic (selected 23rd overall in 2011 NBA Draft) from Minnesota in exchange for the draft rights to Norris Cole (28th overall in 2011 NBA Draft), the draft rights to Malcolm Lee (43rd overall in 2011 NBA Draft) and cash considerations.

July 16, 2012 — Traded Kyle Korver to the Atlanta Hawks for cash. Chicago also received a trade exception from Atlanta.

January 6, 2014 — Traded Luol Deng to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Andrew Bynum, a future conditional first-round pick, a second-round draft pick in 2015, a second-round draft pick in 2016, and the option to swap first-round draft picks in 2015.

January 21, 2014 — Traded Marquis Teague to the Brooklyn Nets for Tornike Shengelia.

June 26, 2014 — Traded the draft rights to Jusuf Nurkic (selected 16th overall in 2014 NBA Draft), the draft rights to Gary Harris (selected 19th overall in 2014 NBA Draft) and a 2015 second-round draft pick to the Denver Nuggets for the draft rights to Doug McDermott (selected 11th overall in 2014 NBA Draft) and Anthony Randolph.

July 14, 2014 — Traded Greg Smith to the Dallas Mavericks for the rights to Tadija Dragićević (selected 53rd overall in 2008 NBA Draft). Traded Anthony Randolph, cash considerations and two future second-round draft picks to the Orlando Magic for the rights to Milovan Raković (selected 60th overall in 2007 NBA Draft).

February 18, 2016 — As part of a 3-team trade, the Chicago Bulls traded Kirk Hinrich to the Atlanta Hawks; the Atlanta Hawks traded Justin Holiday to the Chicago Bulls; the Atlanta Hawks traded Shelvin Mack to the Utah Jazz; and the Utah Jazz traded a 2018 second-round draft pick (conveyed to Utah via Denver) to the Chicago Bulls.

June 17, 2016 — Traded Cameron Bairstow to the Detroit Pistons for Spencer Dinwiddie.

June 22, 2016 — Traded Justin Holiday, Derrick Rose and a 2017 second-round draft pick to the New York Knicks for Jose Calderon, Jerian Grant and Robin Lopez.

July 7, 2016 — Traded Jose Calderon, a 2018 second-round draft pick and a 2019 second-round draft pick to the Los Angeles Lakers for the draft rights to Ater Majok (selected 58th overall in 2011 NBA Draft). Traded Mike Dunleavy and the draft rights to Vladimir Veremeenko (selected 48th overall in 2006 NBA Draft) to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Albert Miralles (selected 39th overall in 2004 NBA Draft).

October 17, 2016 — Traded Tony Snell to the Milwaukee Bucks for Michael Carter-Williams.

February 23, 2017 — Traded Taj Gibson, Doug McDermott and a 2018 second-round draft pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Joffrey Lauvergne, Anthony Morrow and Cameron Payne.

June 22, 2017 — Traded Jimmy Butler and the draft rights to Justin Patton (selected 16th overall in 2017 NBA Draft) to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine and the draft rights to Lauri Markkanen (selected 7th overall in 2017 NBA Draft). Traded the draft rights to Jordan Bell (selected 38th overall in 2017 NBA Draft) to the Golden State Warriors for $3.5M cash.
